FORT WORTH, TX:  The Texas Wesleyan University women’s soccer team (11-7) suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of seventh seeded California Baptist University (16-4-1) in the 2008 NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship Opening Round.

Brianna McKernon finished her career with a Texas Wesleyan record tying 22 assists to go with 36 goals.

Ryan Barnes had 10 points, seven rebounds, and five assists on Friday.

Lauren Dorsey finished with 8 points, 6 boards, and 4 steals against OCU.

Chris Berry has scored 24 points in each of his last two games.

Brittany Turner recored a double double with 21 points and 12 rebounds.

FORT WORTH, TX:  The opponent and location for the Texas Wesleyan University women’s soccer team’ contest in the 2008 NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship Opening Round has been set.  The Lady Rams will head to Riverside, California, to take on Cal Baptist University on Saturday, November 22.
