FORT WORTH, TX: Texas Wesleyan University’s Katlynn Romig earned her fourth Red River Athletic Conference Libero of the Week award for her play during the period of September 22-28.
Romig, a freshman defender from Mansfield, TX, registered 33 digs (5.50 per game) in a pair of difficult matches for the Lady Rams. She had 19 in a loss to Lubbock Christian University (TX) and 14 against Wayland Baptist University (TX), while committing only two receiving errors in 37 attempts.
Kelani Keoho of Southwestern Assemblies of God University (TX) earned her second Red River Athletic Conference Player of the Week award, while her teammate, Rachel Brown, was recognized for the second consecutive time as the RRAC Setter of the Week.
The Lady Rams will return to the refurbished Sid Richardson Center on Tuesday, September 30. They will host Tarleton State University at 5:00 p.m. and open the Red River Athletic Conference scheduled with Paul Quinn College at 7:00 p.m. |
