THEATRE WESLEYAN PRESENTS THE RADIO SHOW: IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE Theatre Wesleyan heads off campus for its latest production, The Radio Show: It's a Wonderful Life. The play-within-a-play, adapted by theatre professor Connie Whitt-Lambert from the film by Frank Capra and story by Phillip Van Doren Stern, will run Oct. 19 through Nov. 10 at the Artisan Center Theater in Hurst.
Set in 1946, The Radio Show presents life behind the scenes at the TXWS Radio Station. The on-air talent and behind the scenes technicians are all characters in this period recreation of the reading of It's a Wonderful Life. Tickets are $8 for all Wesleyan students, faculty and staff. The Radio Show: It's a Wonderful Life is directed by Joe Brown, professor of theatre, and features Wesleyan students A’nie Kirchner, Derrick Fuller, Cameron Ratliff, Dillon Maroney, Nick Mims, Ben Phillips, Rob Carroll, Austin Rose, Ashley Moseley, Michael Kreitzinger, Kayla Bland, Christopher Hatcher, Cari Watson, Joy Millard, Kelly Henry, Jonathan Burns, Erica Heebner, Chase Burnett, Alfredo Martinez, and Johnny Gonzales. Costume design by Brynn Bristol, instructor of theatre; lighting design by Max Marquez, junior theatre major; scenic design by Joe Brown; properties design by Eric Briggs, senior theatre major; sound design by Bryan Stevenson, assistant professor of theatre; and graphic design by Michael Kreitzinger, junior theatre major.
