Chancel Choir of Arlington Heights UMC to Perform Rutter's "Magnificant"
The choir will travel to Carnegie Hall in New York City the following weekend to perform the same work under the direction of composer John Rutter. “It is very exciting for many of our choir members to have the opportunity to sing this work under Rutter’s lead in New York,” Simons said. “This beautiful work has stretched the choir musically and we look forward to presenting this hour of music to our community prior to our departure for New York.” Arlington Heights United Methodist Church is located at 4200 Camp Bowie Blvd. Admission is free and a reception in the church atrium will follow the performance. For more information, call the church office at (817) 737-3161. |
