Facility Operations offers Moving Services.
Individuals can request a Move by submitting an online Move Request Form. The link to this form is located to the right on this page. The following guidelines are provided for your convenience:
- Upon requesting a move to take place, the minimum time for the move to be scheduled and completed is 3 weeks
- Once the request is received, individuals requesting a move will meet with the Events Coordinator to discuss the move parameters prior to the move taking place
- All furniture to be moved will be emptied of contents by requestor. (Desks, file cabinets, bookcases, storage units, etc.)
- All items to be moved except for desks, furniture, file cabinets, storage units, computers, and printers will be boxed and sealed with tape by the requestor. Boxes and tape are not furnished by Facility Operations.
- If it is determined that a move cannot be completed in-house, the requestor will be notified and alternate methods of accomplishing the request will be given. (The department making the request for the office move generally pays for having the move performed by an outside vendor.)
