Michele Madore Boillotat appointed as Vice President for Advancement

FORT WORTH, Texas – May 8, 2024 – Texas Wesleyan University is pleased to announce the appointment of Michele M. Boillotat as the Vice President for Advancement. With three decades of experience, Boillotat brings a wealth of expertise in sparking philanthropic impact through collaborative leadership and relationship building within non-profit organizations and higher education institutions. 
 
Boillotat returns to higher education after a serving as the Vice President of Development at the Texas Women's Foundation. Prior to her role at the Texas Women's Foundation, Boillotat served as the Assistant Vice President for Development at the University of Texas at Arlington. In this capacity, she demonstrated exceptional leadership in enhancing and expanding various fundraising programs, including annual giving, corporate and foundation giving and gift planning.

She is known throughout Texas and beyond for her leadership by connecting people, purpose and programs that result in enriching opportunities for our students, faculty and staff.” 
 
Boillotat's extensive career in philanthropy includes roles at prestigious institutions such as the Indiana University Foundation, Rice University and Dartmouth College where she served in various capacities, all focusing on driving awareness and increasing donor relationships to benefit the organizations. Throughout her career, Boillotat has led highly effective teams in creating visionary plans, producing remarkable results for the non-profits. Boillotat earned her Master of Arts in Higher Education from The Ohio State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Duquesne University.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Boillotat is deeply engaged in her local community, serving as the chairperson of the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce Women's Alliance. She is also actively involved with organizations such as Leadership Arlington and Women Inspiring Philanthropy, reflecting her commitment to making a meaningful impact beyond the confines of her professional roles. Michele Boillotat's dedication to philanthropy and her wealth of experience make her an invaluable addition to Texas Wesleyan University as it continues its mission of fostering excellence in education and community engagement.
