David's biggest victory during the 2005-06 season was winning Class B Singles at the 2005 Arkansas Open.  He also was a finalist in Under 3200 Doubles with teammate Michael Meier at the 2005 Austin Fall Open.

He has already made his mark on the competition during his 2006-07 outings.  He took home the Class D Singles title at the Austin Fall Open, as well as qualifying for the semifinals in Under 3800 Doubles with teammate Ian Lynch at the Texas Wesleyan September Open.

At the 2003, 2004, and 2005 Texas Senior Games, he won first place in singles and doubles in his respective age divisions. 

David is a born Texan, an accomplished paramedic instructor, and a frequent linguistic challenger of New York Times crossword puzzles.
