Sociology Mission Statement:

The programs of Sociology and Sociology with a Criminal Justice Emphasis strive  to provide students with knowledge of human activity within a social context. Through academic analysis of social phenomena, students become equipped to function professionally in the larger world. The programs also help students develop marketable skills of conceptualization, evaluation, problem solving and communication.
